The Silvestermeile (New Year's Eve Mile) on Munich's Ludwigstraße is taking place for the very first time this year: between Siegestor and Odeonsplatz, visitors can look forward to lots of light shows, art installations, concerts and street food trucks on New Year's Eve.
The Silvestermeile (Munich New Year's Eve Mile) 2025 is taking place for the first time this year! On 31 December 2025, from 7 p.m. onwards, visitors can look forward to plenty of entertainment and culinary delights on Ludwigstraße. That's when the boulevard will be transformed into an 800-metre-long entertainment and party mile with four stages, numerous light and laser shows, and several food trucks.
The programme includes concerts by a total of twelve artists – everything from brass band music to hip-hop and electro. Several local musicians will also be performing, including Jesper Munk, Moop Mama and the Schwuhplattler. Some guests may remember DJ Dan Gerous from the old hip-hop club Crux, and DJ Mello runs the Homegirlstore in the Glockenbach district.
But there's something for the little ones too: the organisers are promoting a separate family area. Children aged six and above are allowed on the premises when accompanied by their parents and also pay a reduced admission fee. Those who are not yet of legal age can attend the New Year's Eve party on Ludwigstraße from the age of 16 with confirmation from a parent or guardian.
A wide range of food and drink options will be available from street food trucks and stalls along the Silvestermeile (New Year's Eve mile), offering both international and Bavarian cuisine. Vegetarian delicacies will also be available, of course! Visitors can look forward to creative light and laser shows as well as interactive installations!
When: 31 December 2025, doors open at 7 p.m., ends at 2 a.m.
