Ludwig II created with Neuschwanstein one of the most impressive castles in Europe. In front of picturesque mountain scenery on a rugged rock, it combines Western architecture and the poetic world of the Middle Ages.

After visiting Neuschwanstein, we continue to Oberammergau, which has become world famous through the Passionsspiele (stage play). After a short photo and shopping stop, the tour takes you to Linderhof Castle. The "Royal Villa" is the only castle of the fairytale king, which was still completed during his lifetime and impresses with its magnificent gardens.

Also interesting: For those who like it a little more luxurious and exclusive, the day trip: Royal Castles Neuschwanstein & Linderhof VIP is just right.
