The dropping off and picking up of passengers is not permitted around the Oktoberfest. For this purpose, various bus parking areas in Munich are available for tour bus operators from 17.9. to 3.10.2022. You can also find the right motorhome parking place for your visit to the Wiesn here.

In order to improve the traffic situation around the festival grounds, there will be a closed-off ring around the Theresienwiese. Buses are no longer allowed to drive on the streets within this ring.

The police do not tolerate buses in this area!
Please use Munich's campsites during the Oktoberfest and reserve your pitch in advance. Arrival is only possible if a pitch has been reserved in advance. Even if it is not possible to set up your own caravan directly next to the fairground, you can arrive well with your own sleeping mobile. Special parking lots and campgrounds with good connections to the Oktoberfest via public transport can be found in various districts of Munich.

Important information for 2022: In 2022, the Oktoberfest camping in Riem will exceptionally take place on an alternative site "Am Mitterfeld" with lower capacity. For the duration of the Wiesn (16.9. to 4.10.2022), there is space here for 450 mobile homes, but without electricity. Sanitary facilities with showers and toilets are available to all guests.
