For the first time, the League of Legends EMEA Championship and EMEA Masters are coming to the Olympic Hall (Olympiahalle) in Munich! The dates for this event are 30.08., 31.08. and 01.09.
The LEC Season Finals and the EMEA Masters Summer Finals are the biggest events in the League of Legends Esports EMEA calendar year. Riot Games celebrates the competitive season by inviting LoL Esports fans to the eventand watching EMEA’s best players make history in the Olympic Hall (Olympiahalle) in Munich.
With such a large and spirited LoL Esports fan base in Germany, Riot Games is delighted to host the LEC XPO in Munich and bring back the roadshow to the country for the first time since 2017.

München Tourismus is the local tourism organisation within the Department of Labour and Economic Development of the City of Munich and acts as a centre of expertise, knowledge and innovation in Munich's tourism industry.

The Bavarian State Ministry for Digital Affairs is the first of its kind in all of Germany. At its head is Digital Minister Dr. Fabian Mehring. As the leader, he steers the digital transformation of administration and economy in the Free State. He advocates for new technologies and represents the interests of the citizens in the digital transformation.
Supporting the gaming industry in Bavaria is a heartfelt concern for State Minister Mehring. The "Games Minister" describes the industry as the "Formula 1 of digitalization" and is committed to promoting Bavarian game studios. In 2024, over 2.5 million euros have already been invested in supporting Bavarian gaming projects.
Recently, Mehring announced the establishment of a new center for game developers – The GAMEREI – with the ministry's support of 560,000 euros. In the future, teams from indie studios and the games and e-sports community will be able to use flexible office spaces for programming and locations for meetups or events on an area of almost 1,000 square meters in the east of Munich.
State Minister Mehring is very pleased to bring the LEC Season Finals 2024 - the largest annual League of Legends e-sports event in EMEA - to Bavaria. "E-sports has captivated a vibrant and lively community of players worldwide. This combination of digital enthusiasm and cosmopolitanism fits perfectly with Bavaria as hospitable high-tech location."
The LEC XPO is the LEC’s companion event happening at the Odeonsplatz, in the heart of Munich. Visitors interact with LEC teams and the entire League of Legends ecosystem, ranging from commercial and noncommercial partners to entertainment that celebrates the entire LoL ecosystem.
Attendance at the LEC XPO is free, accessible and open. All activities and content are designed to be enjoyed by all people, from casual passerby, to dedicated LEC Fan, to people who game as a hobby, but do not have a deep connection with LoL. The content, activities and programme are family and child friendly.
Munich Card
The Munich Card is the official guest card of the city of Munich and offers an MVV day pass (public transport) for the selected area of validity. In addition, users benefit from discounts of up to 70% at numerous museums, sights, attractions, tours, shopping facilities and restaurants.
