The former headquarters of the National Socialist German Worker's Party on Königsplatz in Munich is now home to the city’s Documentation Centre for the History of National Socialism.
The place of learning and remembrance offers the opportunity to deal with the National Socialist past of the city of Munich and the consequences of the dictatorship at the historical site.
The permanent exhibition “Munich and National Socialism“ extends over four floors with large-format pictures, documents and media installations. Artistic interventions and exhibitions that change several times a year expand on the themes of the permanent exhibition and open up new perspectives on history.
In the basement, a learning forum offers digital media stations and immersion opportunities for individual guests and groups. The house also offers a variety of online formats and a diverse programme of educational events with tours, lectures, film screenings, concerts and much more.
