This week, the Munich Convention Bureau and the Tourismus Initiative München e.V. presented the new communication strategy for 2021 to all Munich partners.
This is based on five thematic pillars that can be flexibly shifted or exchanged according to the modular principle: Recovery (#simplyyourpartner), Innovation (#simplyinnovative), Sustainability (#simplysustainable), Technology (#simplysmart) and Social Responsibility (#simplyresponsible). Due to the current situation, the communication plan has been extended to the first quarter of 2022, as, among other things, many events have already been postponed and thus the transition into the next year will take place without a break (#simplyunforeseeable). The chosen hashtags that will accompany the campaign throughout the year are based on the learned hashtag of the Munich Convention Bureau #simplymunich.
The aim is to show international event planners, associations, agencies, cooperates and all other service providers the advantages of the City of Munich in the MICE context, which are around tension between tradition and innovation. The strategy includes all partners of the Munich Convention Bureau and offers numerous opportunities for active participation. The focus is on the re-launch of the event industry. Together with all its partners, the Munich Convention Bureau is well prepared for Day X, when events can once again be held in analogue or hybrid form, and is in close contact with event planners, associations, and agencies.
