When it gets dark in Munich's old town, the night watchman's hour begins. Equipped with a lantern, halberd and call horn, he leads his guests through narrow alleyways and tells stories from old Munich.
On this special city tour by the wise city bird, you will experience Munich's past up close. From St Peter to the Old Town Hall and the Old Court – the first seat of the Wittelsbach dynasty - the night watchman will take you to important places and forgotten corners. He will tell you about legends of the devil, old burial customs and gruesome events.
The route varies depending on the night watchman – every tour is different, every story unique. Whether it's the city wall, the prison or the legendary ‘Hundskugel’: there's plenty to discover and smile about.
The tour ends with the night watchman's traditional song – an atmospheric end to a special walk through nocturnal Munich.
