Music fans can look forward to numerous concerts in 2025/2026! Global stars such as Simply Red, Rod Stewart, Linkin Park and Helene Fischer are coming to the city. We are also looking forward to numerous open airs and small concerts in Munich's venues.
Music fans are well catered for in Munich. Next year, concerts by Linkin Park and Helene Fischer at the Allianz Arena will be among the highlights. As the Olympiastadion (Olympic Stadium) is expected to be closed for two years from September 2025 due to renovation work, the city's major concerts will be moved to the Allianz Arena from then on.
The Tollwood Summer Festival 2026 will also offer a wide range of musical entertainment: stars such as Bosse, Foreigner, Alvaro Soler, Fat Freddy`s Drop and Brad Paisley will be performing in the music arena.
A whole host of top acts are coming to the Olympiahalle and Allianz Arena in 2026. Tickets for the concerts are available on the website of the Olympic Park or the Tollwood Summer Festival.

The Teatron MusikSommer will also be back with many great artists and up-and-coming talents on the stage at the Olympic Lake. During August, the festival will make every music fan's heart beat faster. And admission is free!
The free&easy at the Backstage culture and event center is also particularly diverse and free of charge. Concerts, parties, cabaret, politics and much more will take place on three indoor stages, an outdoor stage and the open spaces of the Backstage for 18 days. More details coming soon.
Other popular music venues where concerts take place in a smaller and more intimate setting throughout the summer include the Muffatwerk with the Ampere and the cultural interim use of the Gasteig, the “Fat Cat“.
But even on cooler days in December, January and February, there are many other events that allow us to enjoy winter in Munich to the fullest.
