Our hotel is within sight of the Marienplatz with the city hall and world-famous Glockenspiel and only a few walking minutes away from the Hofbräuhaus, Munich Residenz (palace), Opera, and Maximilian Strasse. Our central location offers our guests the perfect starting point to explore Munich´s landmarks: the Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady), the Deutsches Museum, the Pinakothek art galleries, the Hofgarten (courtyard garden), and much more.

Our premises, which were mentioned as early as 1544 in the oldest Munich land register, are located at Tal 8, and have been privately owned for almost five hundred years and are now a fifth generation family-owned business.

We offer our guests a contemporary and cozy hotel with first-class comfort: from elegant single rooms to spacious double rooms to magnificent suites we meet everyone´s needs. A substantial German breakfast buffet with bread, cheese, eggs, and more rounds out our offer.

Our front desk is staffed 24 hours a day. The staff is available for all questions and information. For guests who want to discover Munich by bicycle, we provide bikes for tours. And guests who travel by car can conveniently park their vehicles in the interior courtyard of our hotel (for 15 Euro per parking space and night). We have free Wi-Fi in all of our rooms.
