A guided tour of the city by bike is particularly recommended if you like to travel a little faster and also want to see sights that are further away comfortably. Since the 1972 Olympic venues are spread all over the city and the surrounding countryside, it is particularly practical to travel by bike. On our privately guided tour, you cycle part of the total 38-kilometre route that our authors have already covered with a trained guide: One possible route that can easily be completed within 3 hours is from the city centre to Nymphenburg Palace, where, among other things, the dressage competitions took place at that time, via the Biedersteiner Canal to the Olympic Park and back to the city centre.
But this is only one of many possible routes. Those who are particularly interested in a sport, a district or certain sights can also put together this bike tour individually with the guide as desired. In any case, the tour has a very exclusive character - regardless of whether you book it as an individual or in a group. Important to know: At München Tourismus you can also conveniently rent a bike for the day. So if you want to continue cycling on your own after the three-hour guided tour, you can easily do so!
