LUMAGICA Light Park Munich
The LUMAGICA light park Munich offers over 300 unique works of light art and installations. The exhibition will take place until the 28th of January 2024 on the grounds of Cavalluna Park in Fröttmaning. Book your ticket here.

LUMAGICA's light parks can be found at several locations around the world – one of them is in Munich-Fröttmaning in Cavalluna Park. Until the 28th of January 2024, visitors can marvel at over 300 light artworks and installations on the site – all of them handmade, unique pieces from Europe.
A one-and-a-half kilometre circular route leads through the outdoor exhibition and takes between 90 and 120 minutes, depending on how long you spend there. If you get hungry or thirsty in between, you will also find a gastronomic offer along the way: there is mulled wine for the adults and hot chocolate for the little ones, as well as sweet and savoury dishes. Photo points and light interactions are also on the programme, where visitors are encouraged to take part.

Flex-Ticket for the LUMAGICA Park of Lights
You can purchase flexible tickets here, which allow you to visit the park on the day of your choice at a time of your choice without pre-booking. The Flex-Ticket can only be used for LUMAGICA Munich and can be exchanged for a regular or reduced admission ticket at the CAVALLUNA Park box office.
The Flex-Ticket is valid as admission authorisation for 1 person. Children up to the age of 4 can visit the magical park of lights free of charge. Children aged 5-12, schoolchildren, students, trainees, senior citizens aged 65 and over and severely disabled persons with a disability of 80% or more (without “B“) are entitled to a discount. Discounts cannot be combined and must be proven at the ticket office.

Important information about your booked Flex-Ticket for LUMAGICA:
- The Flex-Ticket can only be used for LUMAGICA Munich and can be exchanged for a regular or reduced admission ticket at the CAVALLUNA Park box office (Hans-Jensen-Weg 3, 80939 Munich). Show this booking confirmation in printed form or on your cell phone.
- LUMAGICA has the following opening hours: 4.30 p.m./5.30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Your Flex-Ticket is valid on the day you have chosen (see above) at an admission time of your choice.
- Your possible admission time depends on your selected the date:
01.12.2023 - 07.01.2024: Admission time: 4.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.
11.01.2024 - 28.01.2024: Admission time: 5.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. - The Flex-Ticket is valid as admission for 1 person.
- The circular route (not guided) through the park of lights takes around 90 to 120 minutes.
- Accessibility: The circular route through the park of lights is barrier-free and therefore wheelchair accessible. However, some of the paths are paved gravel surfaces.
- You will receive the free City Map and the 50% discount on the official City Guide "simply Munich" upon presentation of your booking confirmation at the Tourist Information at Marienplatz or at main station (please note the current opening hours).
