The Festival of Play, Sport, and Art in July 2022 is just one of the highlights of the 50th anniversary of the Olympic Games in Munich. Throughout 2022, exhibitions and programs throughout the city will recall the spirit of optimism and visionary design of the serene Games, the fates of the victims, and the personal stories associated with the Munich Olympics and invite new encounters.

August 11-21, 2022: European Championships Munich 2022
Nine European Championships under one roof: The European Championships are Munich's largest multi-sport event since the 1972 Olympic Games. More than 4,700 athletes from all over Europe compete in the Olympic sports of beach volleyball, canoe racing, climbing, athletics, cycling, rowing, table tennis, triathlon, and gymnastics. Competitions in para canoe and para-rowing complete the diverse sports program. In addition to 177 exciting medal decisions, visitors can look forward to "The Roofs" - the festival of diversity and surprise rounds off the event to an unforgettable experience.

October 24-30, 2022: World's leading trade fair bauma
Bauma at the Munich trade fair center will evaluate the future of construction, building materials, and mining machinery sectors, as well as construction vehicles and equipment.
Furthermore, topics like CO2 reduction or the path to autonomous machines will be the main emphasis. Newest information will be exchanged and discussed at the numerous trade show booths, and during live presentations, discussion panels, and lectures.
