Munich's contribution to World Tourism Day

"We all speak one language"

For the UN World Tourism Day, a video about travelling and the longing to travel was created. Munich was chosen from 30 worldwide destinations to take part.

Sunday, 27 September 2020 was UN World Tourism Day. The travel agency EAVAR from Teheran has compiled a video with destinations all over the world for this occasion. From Germany only Munich was approached and of course München Tourismus was happy to contribute.

It tells a short story about travelling and the longing to travel. Each destination has been given a sentence. The task for Munich was to transmit the contribution in sign language as well.

The tour guide Gerti Wessel took on this task and translated Munich's sentence "We all speak one language" into sign language.
