Guided tour for groups

The Brienner Quartier

Glamour and glory: together with official City of Munich guides, you will discover the Brienner Quartier with its exclusive traditional shops.

Classicist buildings and exquisite shops – the Brienner Quartier is a true gem in the heart of the city. Brienner Straße gives the business district its name. After its expansion into a boulevard, in the 19th century Adelspalais and exclusive shops were built here. The participants of the tour are personally introduced by shopkeepers to the philosophy of the neighbourhood.

You will learn about their passion for handmade items, such as porcelain from Nymphenburg or paper from Prantl, on which Thomas Mann once wrote his works.

At Café Luitpold, guests can enjoy typical Munich coffeehouse stories and a chocolate speciality. Time does not stand still. Today, the district also stands for a lively cultural scene and modern working environments. A prosecco is just as much a part of the tour as a trip to the historic Palais Ludwig Ferdinand, the heart of the Siemens headquarters, which was not extended to include a modern extension until June 2017.
