BMW Welt: a masterpiece of modern architecture

Vehicle manufacturer BMW’s very own experience and delivery centre has been known to deliver up to 34,000 horsepower in one day.

Since it opened in 2007, the building that houses the BMW Welt attraction has formed the architectural link between the nearby Olympic Park and BMW’s headquarters next door, which have been around since the 1970s.

Behind the futuristic facade of glass and steel and its distinctive double cone design, visitors can discover the world of BMW and its delivery centre. Guests are invited to explore the exhibitions (which feature models from all BMW Group brands) at their own leisure or as part of a group tour. Admission is free.

The bridge inside the building offers a view over an area known as “Premiere”, the point where customers meet their new cars for the first time.

BMW Welt holds events for the entire family all year round and also houses a stage for cultural events, such as the BMW Welt Jazz Award, poetry slams, lectures, concerts and readings.

The park’s culinary offerings include a top-class restaurant, a brasserie, a more luxurious lounge and a simpler snack bar. Visit the lifestyle and accessories shop for souvenirs and gifts.
