Third Reich Extended Tour

National Socialism and resistance: Munich played a special role in the Third Reich. Get to know even more important places of that time and their stories on the extended city tour and have lunch at one of Hitler's former meeting places.

The tour takes you along historical sites and you will learn what role all these places played during the National Socialist era. The tour takes you from Königsplatz via Karolinenplatz, Brienner Straße, the square of the victims of National Socialism with the memorial to the Feldherrnhalle, through the Hofgarten to the Haus der Kunst and the University. This extended city walk through Munich is followed by a lunch break at one of the former meeting places of Hitler from his early days in the city. Afterwards you will visit some other places connected with his rise to power and its consequences. These include former headquarters or resistance centres. It will also be explained how art was used as a tool of Nazi propaganda and you will learn a lot about Munich Third Reich history.
