50 years after the Games, the Olympic Park is an important cultural, sports and leisure facility for Munich's citizens and guests from all over the world. So it is not surprising that international delegations still come to see the successful example of the subsequent use. But did you know that there used to be an airfield here at Oberwiesenfeld?

Many other highlights, for example the spectacular architecture of the park or the East-West Peace Church with its two small chapels of Father Timofei on the Tollwood grounds, can be discovered during a guided tour during the "Summer in the City" campaign with an official guide from the City of Munich.
