Day trip: Dachau concentration camp memorial

Remembering the victims of National Socialism: this day trip will lead you to one of the sites of the darkest chapter of German history.

Dachau is the largest city in the surrounding area of Munich with a population of almost 45,000. In 1933, the first concentration camp of the Nazi regime was established here.

After a short tour through the 1200 years old town you will start the guided tour through the concentration camp. You can visit the museum and watch the documentary film about the concentration camp (14 years and older) and then visit the grounds on your own.

Afterwards, the newly designed memorial site at the former "SS-Schießplatz Hebertshausen", approx. two kilometres away, will be approached.

Included in the price:

  • transfer from Munich to Dachau and back to Munich, duration approx. 6.5 h
  • exclusively with us: City guide "simply Munich" and city map
  • free cancellation until 24 h before tour start
